Good News As Ruto Promises The Youth Ksh. 5000 In Rent-to Own Houses
June 6, 2022
Deputy President William Ruto offered to build rent-to-own homes. This will allow young people to become landlords for as little as Ksh. 5000 in rent.
Ruto said he had identified developers who would build inexpensive units. Kenyans will be able to mortgage and finance through monthly rent during a rally in Uthiru, Kiambu County.
DP Ruto’s plans:
Rent paid over time will cover the cost of the house, unlike a traditional mortgage. Which required Kenyans to borrow money from banks.”We’ll work with real estate developers to provide houses that are affordable for young people. The money paid in rent between Ksh5,000 and Ksh10,000 will be the mortgage.
“The house will be under your name after around 10 to 15 years. This is because we want to develop a scheme where the youth can own properties across the country,” Ruto added.
The DP believes that it was past time to overcome the impasse in which property ownership was reserved for the wealthy and old. He promised that jua kali will be a fully functional manufacturing enterprise.
Ruto’s appeal to his supporters
The UDA presidential candidate and Mathira MP Rigathi Gachagua, urged residents to vote against Azimio presidential candidate Raila Odinga in the August 9 elections.
While speaking to the rally’s security detail, Gachagua restated the Ruto government’s vow to fulfil some of the police officers’ requirements. He did say, though, that the officers should be kind to the citizens in return.
“We make sure that if a police officer discovers you late at night, they put you in their car. They should, however, transport you to your home rather than the station “the Member of Parliament stated.
Ruto’s supporters criticised the clearance of baba by the IEBC. They pledged that for the next 60 days, they would give Baba a good political fight.
The DP requested that the IEBC ensure that the electoral process will be free, and fair. On the other hand, he urged his fans to do all possible to keep it free of unneeded distractions.
