Kalonzo Will be Back in Azimio After the August 9th, 2022 Election.

Kalonzo Will be Back in Azimio after losing to secure the running mate position at the Azimio coalition, Kalonzo Musyoka has announced he will be on the ballot on 9th, August 2022 as a presidential candidate under the Wiper Party.

However, Kalonzo Musyoka has no chance of winning the election. Most likely, he will probably come a distant third after either DP Ruto or PM Raila Odinga. His entry into the race could lead to a rerun of the election. This is because the leading candidate could miss the 50% + 1 vote.

How Kalonzo will get back as a more powerful Chief Cabinet Secretary.

If there will be a re-run Kalonzo Musyoka will be a great determining factor in whom would lead this country. The one person between the two front runners DP William Ruto and PM Raila Amollo Odinga.

Therefore, deciding to not support Raila in the first round would give him greater bargaining power with the Azimio coalition after the August 9th election in case of a re-run.
