Karua Finally At Baba’s Bedroom! Raila To Take Karua Home

The Azimio brigade, has arranged a one-week tour through his Nyanza accompanied by Karua. In all the elections, Baba has received the most votes and the aim is to ensure high voter turnout. The campaign will take place in six counties in the old Nyanza province. The rally will start as from June 13 to June 19.

Mr Odinga and his running mate Martha Karua will hold a series of rallies and stopovers. They will traverse through Kisii, Nyamira, Homa Bay, Migori, Siaya and finally Kisumu City.

The Azimio La Umoja Secretariat Assignment

The Azimio secretariat, is working on details of routes and meeting locations.  The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) chairman John Mbadi. Mr Mbadi said this a t a press conference at the Azimio regional headquarters in Kisumu

The regional campaign team’s co-chair stated that they are aiming for a voter turnout of at least 95%.

Mr Odinga will campaign with his one-time foe in his political backyard.This will be the first time since Martha and Raila will hold a rally together in Nyanza.

Counties and Dates when the Rally will be held:

Raila Odinga will set up camp in Kisii on June 13-14, Nyamira (June 15), Homa Bay (June 16), Migori (June 17), Siaya (June 18), and Kisumu (June 19) to counter Deputy President William Ruto’s excursions there (June 19).

Kisii Governor James Ongwae revealed that the team will work closely with Azimio-affiliated parties. This is to establish a good working relationship and deliver Mr Odinga a resounding victory in the August 9 elections.

The aim is to ensure during Raila’s rally, personal and political conflicts do not arise.

“Despite our competing for different seats, we all have a same goal. In ensuring that Mr Odinga succeeds President Uhuru as the fifth President,” said Jimmy Angwenyi, Jubilee deputy party leader and Kitutu Chache North MP.

Kisumu Governor Remarks

Kisumu Governor Anyang’ Nyong’o a close confidant of Raila has expressed confidence for Raila. He said that he will be able to bring about the change that he has been striving for for more than 40 years.

“Kenyans should vote for Azimio so that they can benefit from his 10-point plan,” he stated.
