In what seems to be an obvious guess after deputy president William Ruto choose Mathira MP Rigathi Gachagua as the DP, Martha Karua is being touted as the Azimio DP select.

This can be evidenced by the move by the Wiper Party decision to move to court – seeking to leave the Azimio coalition even before the DP was announced.

However, Martha Karua seems to be the best match for the Azimio DP slot.

Raila Odinga is expected to announce his DP on Monday 16th May.
