The race for Nyandarua County Governor’s race is a two-horse race according to the recent polls by Mizani Africa.

They conducted this poll before we conducted the party nominations and now some of the big names such as Sicily Kariuki and Muchiri, Absa have quit the race. This leaves Dr. Kiarie Badilisha and Hon. Kimemia (incumbent) fighting to take control of the vote-rich Olkalou Constituency.

Hon. Waithaka Kirika is also in the race with the advantage of being the only strong aspirant from the Kinangop region. However, his chances are minimal.

Hon. Wahome Ndegwa the current speaker has already started fights with his party Chama Cha Kazi which is led by Moses Kuria. He is also in the race to govern the county rich in honey and milk.
